    • Vehicle arrive, no crank/no start. Tow vehicle in the shop, scan for codes. Find U101 Lost Comm with TCM, U102 Lost Comm with T-Case Control Module, U0121 Lost Comm with ABS Module, U0140 Lost Comm with BCM, U0100 Lost Comm with ECM, U0073 Control Module Comm "A" Off, U0122 Lost Comm with VDC Module. Check battery voltage, it was strong. Hook up to a trickle charger for diagnostic testing to avoid killing battery. Tested power and ground at the ECM and TCM, both are good. Check power and ground at BCM, both were good. Check all related fuses and relays, all are good at this time. Check all computer data lines visually and perform wiggle test, cannot find any damage at this time. Check voltage at computer data lines, starting at ECM which is at the end of the line. Find that the voltage is 11.5V. Voltage should be 5V. Follow the high voltage issue up through all the modules, including TCM, BCM, T-Case control Module and all had 11.5V. ECM will randomly give communication permissions, but not enough to perform any starting or many forms of testing.

    • Replaced New Cable- Changed Spring on dash side of cable. Dial turns a little hard due to something internal of the HVAC box catching or binding up. If issue arises again, we would need to tear dash apart to get to the HVAC box and verify what the cause is. More than likely we would need to replace HVAC box at that time
    • Scanned and found codes for cooling system. Tested and found thermostat is faulty. Removed and replaced thermostat. test drove and vehicle had heat coming through vents
